2. What this site does not collect
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural tracking, user accounts or third-party embeds. It does not use a consent-management platform because there are no optional tracking technologies to consent to.
Values entered into the Code Desk, SWIFT checker and IBAN validator are processed synchronously by JavaScript in your browser. The IFSC checker also validates locally; after a full code passes, it may request a matching record from this site’s IFSC API. The local validators do not submit their values to a bank or external service.
3. AI Assistant (bring your own key)
The optional AI Assistant has no site-owner API key. You provide a key for Anthropic PBC or OpenAI yourself. The key is held in a JavaScript variable for the page visit and is written to this device’s localStorage only when you tick “Remember on this device.” The “Forget key” control removes the saved value and clears the in-page variable.
When you submit a question, your browser sends the key, question, short in-page conversation history and locally validated facts directly to the provider you selected: Anthropic or OpenAI. The request is never proxied through bankswiftifsccodes.com, and this site receives neither the key nor the AI conversation. The provider processes the request under its own terms and privacy policy: Anthropic privacy policy and OpenAI privacy policy. The conversation is kept only in page memory by this site and is not persisted.
4. IFSC database lookups
IFSC branch pages and APIs perform stateless lookups against the site’s read-only database. The application does not add query logging, user profiles or search histories. As with any ordinary web request, the hosting provider’s standard server logs may contain the requested URL and technical delivery data described below.
5. Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich as a hosting processor. Like ordinary web hosting, the server may process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the site, including IP address, date and time, requested file, transferred bytes, referrer if supplied, browser user-agent and response status. These are standard server logs; this site does not add an analytics profile to them.
The purpose is reliable delivery, security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, the controller’s legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website. Logs are kept only according to the host’s operational and security configuration and are not combined by the controller into marketing profiles. They may be retained longer when necessary to investigate a concrete security incident or comply with a legal obligation.
6. Email contact
If you email the public contact address, the message necessarily contains the information you choose to provide, along with ordinary email metadata. It is used to answer the request, handle corrections or address legal and privacy matters. Depending on the context, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication, Article 6(1)(c) for legal obligations, or Article 6(1)(f) for legitimate communication and site operation.
Messages are retained only as long as needed for the request and any applicable legal recordkeeping or defence periods. Do not send passwords, PINs, identity documents or full payment credentials. This site does not provide account or transfer support.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Website request data is processed by the hosting provider as necessary to deliver the site. Email is processed by the email services involved in transmission. The site loads no remote fonts, scripts, images or embeds. Only when you explicitly submit an AI Assistant question does your browser contact the selected US-based provider directly. No personal data is sold.
8. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. To exercise a right concerning this site, email the controller at the address above. The controller may need enough information to identify the relevant communication or log event without collecting unnecessary additional data.
9. Changes
This policy will be updated before adding analytics, cookies, advertising technology, third-party embeds or materially different data processing. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
